It’s official.
I have decided what is the hardest hardship of all.
Not the power outages. Not the fact that I only have running water at night. Nor that I can’t drive a car or speak my native language at work. I don’t even care that I am currently too broke to afford a new fan. In the middle of the summer.
The thing that makes me want to scream in frustration and pull my hair out is the overall lack of useable internet connection. I so desperately want to check my email, do some research for a charla, and perhaps update the bloggie. And yes, log on to the crackbook facebook…
But for SO. MANY. REASONS. it’s just not happening today.
I curse the day that I ever experienced wireless highspeed. Because then I would not have this expectation of high bandwidth and I would not go to ridiculous lengths and pay (relatively) exorbitant prices only to be moving at a glacial 56k.
At the end of the day, this more than anything else, is what I miss from my former life.

And will someone please tell me what the hell is Google+ ?
I haven’t used it, but I think Google+ is going to compete with Facebook as a social network. It’s going to have a couple cool options that Facebook doesn’t currently have, although might be coming out with soon
